I dont have my original charger handy and just have the car charger so wanted to get a mains or usb powered charger to use when indoors.

I prefer mains but will be fine with a usb powered ...

The Wintec WBT-100 data logger sounds like a decent unit - except I have not been able to find anyone selling it in the UK.

Battery life is not a big deal with me since I will be using the receiver ...

I got the same hardware setup except I am running Tom Tom 5 Navigator.

Since you have done a hard reset of the Ipaq did you "pair" the Fortuna and the PDA once again? Do that from the Bluetooth man ...
