Coming from NE Leeds (Otley/Harrogate)

I think a lot of sections are motorway standard and it avoids most major townscities on way to london, so it could be quicker.

travelling from Leeds to London. i3,AA and RAC recommend m1 route.

Autoroute recommends a1/a1(m) and has a significantly shorter time even when I slow down all driving conditions.

I think prob the best you could achieve is to zoom out and follow by compass point.......It does show you on map if you are in middle of a field etc, but does not offer a route......so beware of cliff ...

How does it know the quickest vs shortest, is this based on road type. ie motorway/A road/B road etc.
