Having issues with intermittent voice over bluetooth, sometimes works and other times nothing with no change of settings.

Same issue here, galaxy S6 and had changed distances.

This was on default, had a play with settins device speaker worked fine but bluetooth headset froze the screen and crashed, log was sent.
