So the "consolidated" shows camera positions but no speeds and the "speed zoned" shows camera positions WITH the speed of the camera, is that correct?

I've just got mine too.

2. You can disable them by going to Tools, Settings, Proximity Points, Proximity Alerts, Change... and untick Garmin Safety Cameras.

BTW - apparently, if you rename the .gpx file that Mapsource copies down, you can far exceed the 10 pre-defined routes that the Nüvi 7xx advertises. You just have to access them in batche ...
