obeone, all my speed camera warning sounds have disappeared. It now gives no audible signal when you are approaching a camera.
What new sounds did you get, and how do you change them? |

Strange. The same thing has now happened to mine, it now only takes a few seconds.
However, if I change maps it still reboots and takes ages to do so. I guess it might be doing a hard reboot rather ... |

OK, I finally got it to work.
Once your are connected to the XL you need to run this command
cat /var/run/gpspipe
This then starts to stream out the NMEA data.
