Eureka!!! That did it - I can't believe it was such a simple solution! I went and stood outside with the new set up and hey presto within 3 minutes it had tracked and got a fix on 7 satellite ... |

Thanks for your ongoing assistance. This may be the problem. I am moving in my car waiting to get a fix. I'll try the set up outside stationary and let you know how I get on. |

Thanks for swift reply Tim. You are correct - my set up is actually, Compaq Ipaq 3850, Navman 3450 and I am hoping to run TomTom 5.
