Hi,

If you haven't bought something by now, take a look at: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=24620

It is effectively a Garmin unit, so any Garmin fo ...

Hi,

Only just noticed this thread, so apologies. Recently bought the new Garmin powered Kenwood satnav kna-g520. Can interface with single or double din head units. Would highly recommend it and ...

Just completed first trip away. From St Malo port to Euro Disney (and back!). Aside from checking into the local ferry and then realising the ipod had erased all the songs (previously rem ...

Well I finally ordered my DDX6029 + KNA-G520. Installed it at the weekend and all seems well. Blew a fuse which caused all sorts of problems, but aside from that it was pretty easy to install. Just ...

Hi,

Yes the nuvi and streetpilot c series (530 etc) only allow 1 waypoint (via) on the route from point a to point b. You can store many waypoints on the devices (500?) but can only have 1 set as ...

I've not used an external antenna so can't say. All I can say is that the nuvi sirfstar III was quicker at initial acquisition and maintained a better lock. Maybe the newer M series units would be b ...
