I've experienced missing POI alerts.
I think it's something to do with the on route / near route setting.
The 3rd notch seems to work.

The POI intermittent failure might have something to do with the distance from the POI calculation.

I have found that moving the bar from on route towards the near route has helped. The 3rd notch ...

Here's a simple solution (if you're a perfectionist)

Rename pocketgps_uk_gatso.csv to pocketgps_uk_fixed.csv
