Is there any way to increase the volume of Garmin's audible alerts as they are barely audible, even without the radio on? |

Edit the sound files in an audio editor and perhaps compress them a bit. Audio compression is used on TV to make the ads seem louder than the main programme. Audacity is a pretty good free one. |

Which ones ?
Navigation or Camera ?
Navigation via volume control, Camera ones from here are louder anyway.
What volume level do you have set? _________________ DashCam:

Definitely as they shouldn't be that quiet. As K asks, which ones are you referring to? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I'm referring to the one that indicates overspeed, speed change, etc. Can I access the file so that I can edit it in Goldwave and if so, where do I find it?
Regarding the pgps alerts, they are fine, although I have replaced the mobile alerts with various beeps as I find the warnings can be a bit too much of a good thing on some roads (just drive north out of Worcester on the dual carriageway A449 and you'll see what I mean). |
