We'll just bought my Garmin 3598 yesterday looks a thing of beauty, and going out soon to see how good it is,just got a couple of questions first if I may ask.
1, I connected my device to the my garmin web site and did a complete update of everything that was available, however I had to use a 8gb micro sdcard with all my poi's and speed camera's on ,as there was not enough room on the device's internal memory. So my question is ,When I come to update my speed camera's and Poi's using Poi Loader, will poi loader ONLY delete speed cams and poi's,and leave all the other updated files alone.
2, Do I HAVE TO USE the DAB arial aswell as the thick power cable-digital arial or can I just use the latter on its own.
Hope these make sense.
Looking forward to a reply,many thank's
Tony Cool

Hope you've made a full back up of your nuvi Wink

POI loader only updates custom installed POIs. However what I do as I find I have more control over what's happening is use POI loader to compile the POI files which I save to my computer. I then manually name them to identify them and copy them into the POI folder, either on my nuvi or the card.

Not sure about power leads. My 2508 with digital traffic just came with one, so not sure why you have two Confused

Back up now as good as any available Wink

Unsure about the second aerial, only time I've seen one is the thin aerial that fits into the hole on the traffic cable on the 14xx series.
