Hi Everyone,
I have taken the plunge and got an iPhone 4, I have also bought the app. The problem is I get no audio warings or all clears at all.
Even when I go into settings and tap the female warning all I get is silence, any ideas???

do you have your phone on silent? plugged into any docking stations that may be routing the audio?

Hi
Thanks for the reply,
No the phone is not on silent, also not in any kind of dock. It just sits in the centre consul whilst I am driving.
I cannot work it out, all the other things that require audio work except this app.

is the volume for app audio turned up?
in cameralert go to settings, sound warnings and select warning sound as 'female voice'. press the text 'Female voice' and then press the volume up key on the side of the phone.
the iphone since iOS4, for some reason, has separate volume levels that you can only adjust if they are playing.
eg if nothing is playing in the app and you turn volume up it will say 'ringer' above the volume level, while the app is making sounds it will not say anything.
hope that makes sense?

Hi,
Sorted!
Although the volume on the phone was on full, it was not turned up for the APP, I did not realise it would require setting by itself if you had the phone volume on full for everything else.
Thanks very much,

annoying isn't it... it seemed to be added in iOS4 from what i gathered. same for phone calls too.
maybe you turned the volume down in another app (eg game with annoying music?)
