Just downloaded this and all of a sudden I cannot control the TomTom from the computer!
Message is "This functionality is not yet supported by your combination of navigation device, your device's application version and your computer's operating system"
I have a 740 and am using Vista. Both of these are not new gear so I would have thought that this leaves the third "your device's application version" as being to blame - but it worked OK before this upgrade.
Do TomTom actually test their new software - or do they just expect us to do it for them? _________________ Furry Fred

Have a read through the old threads. Happens to the x40s nearly every time Home is updated.
Moved to the TomTom Home Forum too... |

As of about 23:00 I was able to download the DLL and "Operate My Go (940)". I don't know if it makes any difference that this was a virgin install on a new (virtual) XP SP3 PC? _________________ Jock

According to your sig, Jock you're still running v8.351 on the Go940, and I think the .dll has been available for that for ages.
Hasn't Home tried to update you to v8.370? That was released a month ago (5th Aug)
I just tried Home and the emulator's still not working for me on v8.370. |

I had been resisting the upgrade (or at least plugging in the 940) until I have an SD card for it (ordered). _________________ Jock
