I am using Navcore 8.204 with North America map 815.2019 on my TT 910..... I get a splash screen with no TT drums sound, and no matter how I try I don't see my antitheftW.bmp pic or any goodbye sound? Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks! Crying or Very sad

You would, normally, only get the drum roll if the Unit is Reset (with a pin). Do you have an AntitheftW BMP on the Unit?

As you seem to have a Map/App combination that is not intended for the 910, you can expect there to be some problems. Rolling Eyes

To see the antitheftw.bmp graphic, you must check 'warn when leaving vehicle' in Safety Preferences. The warning IS the graphic, not an audio cue.

Ahhhh now that makes some sense. I'll give it a try. What about the old .bmp that was shown on shutdown? What if I rename it to that?

The shutdown file for a wide screen unit must be called antitheftw.bmp. If you have an image already called that and want to keep it, then just do the check in preferences.

If you have a new image you'd like to use, rename the old one antitheftw.bmp.bak or something (in case you want to use it at a later time) and rename the new image to antitheftw.bmp.

Thanks all for clearing this up. Call me dopey, but I liked the drums at startup!

Update on my problem: 910 running navcore_8.204.9718, with North America 815.2019 map. Warn when shut down ticked off. I have tried a couple different antitheftw.bmp, and the issue is that it shows for a microsecond, barely noticeable. I know this is a minor issue but is there any way to get it to stay on for a couple seconds when shutting down?

Good question.........

As far as I know, the length of time the startup screen and the shutdown screen are displayed are not user defined.

My shutdown is about 2 seconds I would guess.......
