Hi all just bought 765T and checked software version on unit. This is showing as 2.2. Webupdater says my unit is up to date but if I go to the downloads section on Garmin it shows the 760 series as being on 4.2. Is the 765T different from the 4.2 for the 760 series and if not why wouldn't webupdater recognise I was on 2.2 and needed to upgrade?

Yes. Hence the firmwares are not interchangable. Please don't attempt to install the 760 firmware onto a 765. |

I just moved this topic to the GARMIN nuvi... forum so that it would receive wider readership and PaulB2005 got a reply in just as I was moving it.

Thanks for the info guys, they do not mentione 765 specifically on the garmin site which is why it was a little confusing.
