What cameras are you referring to - the ones from this site or Tom Tom's own? _________________ Peter

Tom Tom's own cameras are not listed or activated as POIs. Go into Tom Tom Plus and then you will find them under Tom Tom safety cameras. But don't expect them to be very complete or up to date. If you want that you will have to use the ones on this site.
TT Home will not recognise the PGPSW cameras as cameras because they are POIs. I find it easier to install them from the computer using drag and drop - they go in your map folder. then you activate them as you used to, i.e. using manage POIs _________________ Peter

Yes you can just download the ov2 and bmp, but .....
From memory your TT does not have text to speech - is that correct? If so you are stuck with TT's warning sounds only, unless you also load .ogg sound files with spoken warnings on - there are plenty to find in the download section of this site (you may need to be a subscriber though to get them - not sure). The files have to have the same name as you give the camera file, only with a .ogg suffix. Then you can have spoken alerts.
If you have these (again in map folder) TT will not ask you what warning sound you want when setting up the POI warning - it will just use that file.
Once it is all working then you need to become a subscriber here and get the latest database - your old one is now well out of date. _________________ Peter
