Help, whilst setting up my Tomtom one v2 today I noticed that the unit did not seem to be " remembering " the warn when closer distance in yards, only happens when setting up the various speed cameras.
have also installed the corresponding voice files matching the speed zoned cam files installed. if I set the distance in yards for one off the speed cams it will set the distance in yards but the set distance will just remain highlighted, pressing " OK " will not do change screen instaed I have to just select the cancel option which is obviously just doing excatly this cancelling out any distance set.
I understand that during this set up process I should not get the option screen off selecting the required alert due to me having the optional cam speech files installed, this is confirmed by being able to select / remember the distance and sound file warning for the "uk pmobile type" cams where there is no seperate associated waring voice installed by myself, but just wonder how I get to actual save the set distances during this process ?? |

I vaguely remember getting a problem like this once and I discovered that my problem was the Gatso TBA file which is a dummy. I could do settings until I reached that one, then it went wrong and was stopping my warnings. When I deleted that file, all went well. _________________ Dennis

Okay thanks for the advice but as I say unfortunatly my problem is affecting all cams apart from the ones without the associatted voice warning files.
any other ideas I could try anyone ??
p.s I take it when you enter the distance in yards and then press " OK " that the screen will change if all working okay where as as I say mine is just staying highlighted and the only option that works is to cancel. |

From the desciption Dennis gave it isn't the sound file but the actual OV2 file that is causing the problem. Try deleting the Gatso tba file and if that fails try deleting all the PGPSW Speedcam files and downloading a fresh copy. |
