i am not real savvy on a computer, so i am at the mercy of others. is there any one out there that can make me a pittsburgh steelers splash screen for a tomtom one version 3? i would be extremely greatful |

Do you mean something like this:
To use this as a splash screen right click the picture and choose "Save As" name the file splash, and change the file type from jpg to bmp
With the image file on the PC connect the TomTom to the PC and use Windows Explorer to copy the file to the root of the device.
Before messing around with your device though I would recommend you fully back up the device to the PC - Mike |

Just in case it's not clear to you, to change the file type to bmp, it is not as simple as renaming the file extension, you have to actually open the file in a "paint" program and re-save it as the new type. MS Paint that comes free with Windows will do the job if you don't have anything flashier. |

you'll probably find that with over 250,000 members someone usually responds within a matter of minutes!
welcome to the forum by the way and it's good to get some americans in! get submitting those cameras (at least you only have redlight ones over there...!)
