Speed warnings in kilometres rather than miles per hour.

I have a Zumo 550 which came preloaded with the Garmin UK camera sites. I have deleted these and added the Pocket GPS camera info instead using the Garmin POI loader.

When I originally downloaded the Pocket GPS database I inadvertantly ticked the kilometres per hour as the basis of download instead of miles.

Realising my mistake I have tried downloading & reinstalling the Pocket GPS database and also reloading the Garmin POI loader software several times. I have also checked that I am now loading as miles per hour.

My problem is that although the camera speeds are shown in miles per hour on screen, the Zumo warning still seemd to think these are kilometres per hour figures e.g. a camera which is actually 30mph highlights as a speed warning of 19mph, etc.

Thoughts on how to fix?

Have you checked the options for the unit rather than the download?

When using POILoader some newer versions have an option to clear / delete existing POI files - I would try that then re-load using the correct value - Mike

poiloader needs to be set to 'feet / mph' rather than 'meters / kph'
