Hi all
New to this forum and (Sat Nav's), so hope this is in the correct place.
My question to the experts is, that, I am looking at purchasing a garmin Nuvi 350 with preloaded safety camera database, are these legal to use in France, as i have been told that they not.

from reading reports on this site it would seem that the french police will just take the device from you and/or give you an on the spot fine

And if you cannot pay the extortionate on the spot fine, or show dissent in the slightest way, they will take your vehicle. _________________ Tomtom Go730T

Thanks for the quick reply's lads, much appreciated.
I think I will give it a miss then, or, get a Sat Nav with no safety camera databases preloaded. |
