For those of you wondering what Zzz is for!

In a moment of boredom at work, I emailed Tom Tom tech support to ask them what the slider is on the GPS driver that has a small icon of a PDA with Zzzz on the screen. I was amazed to get a response within 9 minutes!!!! Is this a record?

Anyway it turns out that the Zzzz slider and the speaker slider should both really be tick boxes as they are off or on. Their response follows:-

"You are looking forward to TTN3? Keep an eye on our website for the next few weeks (months). You might already see our prelaunch info for our Palm TomTom GPS software! What the ZZZ does is next to this on the right is a slider bar. If you slide the bar to the right you'll see the TomTom hands appear. This will then override any sleep modes or power saving modes you have set on your machine only as long as the slider is to the right."
