Garmin nuvi 300T

Hi new to the forum but a bit confused
I have bought a Garmin 300T that was advertised as having the Speed Camera locations, but when I log onto the Garmin web site I had to activate the 90 day trial
Getting to my question: Has the 300T already got the Camera data pre installed and running or will I have to subscribe to get the updates?
It is about £39 per year on the Garmin web site and when I activated the 90 day trial it tells me the date it expires.
Is there a way round this like the Tom Tom files or do you always have to go to Garmin?

In the POI file on the unit there are 2 files now

1. CyclopsUK082906Sample.unl
and
2. CyclopsUK082906Sample.gpi

I know these are the camera locations but how do you get the files to update? Can you do it from this website cheaper?
