Can you tell me how you got these to work I downloaded the ogg files which it said simply needed to be in the same folder as the poi with the same name, didn't work on my 7610 (5.202 (443)) do they need to be in amr format for the nokia Symbians ? if so is there a pack here or do I need to convert the ogg's ?

Thanks in advance

I don't think that erksome was talking about the ogg files, because, from Mike's howto

Alternately you can use a newer (easier) method to obtain spoken camera alerts, this method employs audio files using the ogg file format.

Note this method is known to work with TomTom Go products and TomTom Navigator software versions 5,x and 6,x are supported, TomTom Mobile cannot use this method.

For additional information see HERE

I'm presuming that is TT Mobile? With TTN6, I don't think there is a Mobile TT6 as such, so I'm not sure, from Mike's howto, if TTN6 will handle OGGs on a mobile?

Sorry, I though Tomtom6 and Tomtom Navigator 6 were now the same (There is no Tomtom Mobile6 anyway).

I am using Tomtom Navigator 6 on a SE P990i.
I use the speed camera database with the 24 separate speed camera .ov2 files and and 24 separate .ogg files for each type of warning.

These are all stored in the map directory.

When you run Tomtom and turn on the POI alerts for each type, it no longer asks you for the warning sound you wish to hear, as it already knows to play the relabent .ogg file. You still set the warning distance and if it only warns you if the POI is on your route.

This allows you to have individual warnings for each type of camera which also announces the speed as well.

Hope this helps...

The ogg files will not work with your combination, you have to use the data.chk method, there is a suitable spoken alert data.chk file for (443)) which can be found HERE - Mike
