Hi All,
Bought my i3 a month ago and am well pleased with it. I have created a couple of POI files with the info given on this forum and downloaded others but I have come across a "funny" that I haven't seen mentioned. One file I created was for the Caravan Club sites, there are about 180 of them. It seemed to work OK but yesterday I discovered that some of them were not showing up on the Garmin but were in the POI file. It appears it only gives you the option to select from the nearest 50 to your location. I don't know if this changes as you move about the country or if a POI file is restricted to the 50 nearest when installed.
To get round this inconvenience, I have split the file into four, A-C, D-K etc. Can someone confirm that this is a "feature" and not a bug?

it shows the nearest 50 to your current location.

if you want to see sites around conrwall for example and you're currently in wakefield then you need to do the following:

where to
cities
'cornwall'
find near by
food hotels and more
custom points
caravan sites

this will then give you the nearest 50 to cornwall.

Thanks for that info. It works but won't accept Cornwall as a city. If I put in Truro then it's happy and does as you say. Many thanks.
