Upgraded to V2.70 a couple of days ago and seems to be ok. Have done about 200 miles and no major problems.
Did think I had a problem with icons disapearing, but I think from reading on the forum that this is normal and I perhaps just had things set up not quite right. See 'Disapearing icons' thread.
Totally unlrelated -Thank god its Friday |

No problems at all, if anything the redraw seems faster when zooming in and out. It used to take longer with 2.5 and 2.6, I thought. |

Hi,
I thought that the I3 was a little sluggish when running 2.7. I went
"off route" a couple of times and it seemed to take a while to notice.
There were no system crashes or power downs that a couple of others have had.
I've reverted back to 2.5 and I do think it's faster.

No problems for me either. Have to say I was scared to death as it started to download bearing in mind it appears to delete the original software first, my thoughts were, if it stops now, I'm in the Sh*t!
Got all the POI's on and speed cameras seem to bong and bong more if you're over the speed limit, and the camera location icon shows up if you're over the speed limit. |

like you crazylegs i found the i3 much slower in caculating and re-drawing screens...i'm sticking to v2.5 which seems the most quickest and stable.. _________________ *************************** |

Tried updating to v2.7 Like others, seems much slower in redrawing the map and calculating routes. Also seems to do several rout recalculations at times.
When switched on, seems a little slower at acquiring satellites.
Have gone back to v2.5 for now. |

to go back to v2.5 just download version 2.5 like you did with v2.70 when you upgarded...now finding v2.50 might proove a little more difficult but i'm sure its in one of these threads somewhere. _________________ *************************** |

Hi,
I thought I'd give 2.7 another go. It's been fine, no problems at all.
When I tried it before we were having even worse weather than usual in Scotland, it may have been the really thick cloud cover having an effect on signal reception.
