But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi all. Looking at purchasing an ICN510 within the next week (after spending days comparing to TomTom GO). My question relates to the active points of interest. After adding POI's (eg. safety camera's), can you specify the distance for the alert (eg. 200m or 1 mile) ? Also, how does the alert display itself ? Is it just audio, or audio and visual on the display ?

Hi there,
It's easier for everyone - both original posters and those replying - if all discussion on one topic is kept in the same place.
I appreciate that sometimes it's hard to choose the right forum. However, many forum regulars read using "posts since last visit", so will spot things in any forum.
I'm going to lock this thread, and suggest any replies go in your identical post here. Meanwhile, I've moved that other post to the Navman (Software) forum, as that's where it seems most appropriate. If you can't then find it, the linked "here" (which will be in slightly smaller text) will take you there.
As a general point, it's best to use the product specific forums, as that's where people interested in those products tend to hang out. You don't have to use the Beginners' lounge just because you're a beginner - though it can be a good place to compare products. I believe your question is a Navman specific one, so it seems best put in the place where the Navman experts hang out.
Please don't think I'm getting at you, Simon - if you're unsure where to post, post anyway. One of the moderators can easily move things into the proper place.
