Help,
I am having no luck at all with a BT connection between my 5450 and my fortunat GPSmart BT (using Tom Tom 3) - all I see when exploring services is a serial SPP slave - I make a connection to it BUT the Ipaq shows this as an outgoing connection - in TT GPS I can select Nmea Bluetooth and either com 5 or com 8 - neither work.

I have the latest Ipaq patch - I have tried TT GPS 2.07.

Anoyingly this works fine on a Loox 600 BUT the lLOOX is unstable when used with 256mb CF card - what else should I try? Crying or Very sad

Outgoing connection is fine - the iPAQ is requesting the service of the GPS receiver. So when you discover the services on the BT receiver you should see something "Serial xyz" tap that, create the shortcut, and then tap and hold the shortcut and say "Connect". Verify that you are connected (audible and visible feedback, some BT receivers will change from blinking blue to steady blue)

Use a diagnostics tool (not TomTom) to see that the data is flowing fine. Use raw COM port settings at 38400.

Don't give up ;-)
