Sure, in theory there's no reason why you couldn't say use the 4xAA battery pack extender that PC-Mobile sells. This charges the PDA and gives you around 3 full charges, It's quite a lot larger than a Clip-On but if you don't mind having it plugged in say in-car that way, or when you're walking with it then it'll work well.

I now have three of these baby's and they really do come in handy as a life saver!

Looks good for my iPaq, very good. But I was more concerned over the Fortuna Clip On which would have a different connector of course.

Not if you buy the 3600 battery pack, it will come with a normal jack plug and I've tested mine and it does fit the Fortuna Clip-On socket and charges the Clip-On (although I haven't done an extended charge).

You may want to check the voltage/amps of the Fortuna Clip-On charger (can't locate mine at the moment).

You can also buy a battery extender with a female USB connector it and therefore use the Fortuna USB cable. If you buy one of those nice retractable USB/Ipaq leads you can also plug this into you battery extender. ie one battery extender charges both Ipaq and Clip-on

Try Shirtpocket.co.uk for the extender...
