I've had a Garmin for over 10 years (not the same one!) and I have always copied the icons and wave files across along with the file made using POI Loader. Do I need to?
Thanks,

No. Not if they are still on the Garmin. But, don't you have to have them in the PoiLoader working folder?
Not sure, so wait for a black belt reply from Kremmen or sussamb. |

Are these general POIs or the speed camera ones?
Either way the .gpi file created by POI Loader contains all the info needed, so you shouldn't install the icons or audio files as well to your Garmin. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thanks as I had assumed the POI Loader file just had links to the icons, sound files etc. and didn't embed them in the gpi file. |
