Apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere but I'm struggling a bit with the forum search function.
I was driving through Northern Italy and didn't get a single camera notification despite the Tutor system on the motorway. I'm now wondering if I did something wrong when I set up the iPhone CameraAlert app as I can't believe this is not part of the database. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Don't know about the Italy cams. Did you report them. Good way to get a free years subs.
On the search form, limit the number of hits by checking the 'Search for all terms' checkbox, otherwise it searches for every word separately. Why that isn't checked by default goodness only knows. |

From my experience driving in North East Italy there are alerts for the roadside cameras on major routes and motorways, but not all the motorway gantry cameras are identified. |

You have all of them. There's only one download. |

How disappointing then! I'm constantly seeing cameras in Europe that just aren't on the database! I report as many as I can but I get the impression this is really a UK database |

It is a world wide database. As you will be aware, the camera locations are submitted by the PgpsW members. Admittedly, most members are UK based therefore most submitted cameras are in the UK. But we need to increase non-uk camera numbers in the db.
Please, please, please continue to submit new EU/Worldwide cameras as you have been doing. It makes the camera db so much more accurate. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Hi,
Are the locations shown on the map here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras&op=SubmitCamera ?
If not then, as already mentioned, then you can submit the locations.
We rely on users submitting camera locations so less frequented locations can take longer to get added to the database, but the flipside of that means more chance for users to get free subscriptions.
