Hi i have just purchased a TT go 5000 and already own a TT go 1005. I am amazed that they both send you on different routes even though there is no traffic, both set to fastest route. The go 5000 route is a lot longer and not as direct as the go 1005. How can that be right surely they should send you the same way. I like the go 5000 but I think I am going to have to return it as the routes are not right or am I doing something wrong. Its even sending me a different way to TT route planner.

Do both your units have the same map version? Do they both accept mapshare corrections and have they updated?

Otherwise, go back to the seller, take your 1005 and show him the differences between the two and get your money back.

Hi DennisN thanks for your reply, yes both maps are up to date and I have tried many different routes and still the same and all the TT 5000 routes are longer in distance how bizarre. York way junction of market road London N7 to Grange road junction of tower bridge road London SE1 the TT1005 takes me over Blackfriars bridge 4.7 miles and the TT5000 takes me over Waterloo bridge 5.0 miles, both units are set to fastest route. I think I'm going to have to return it unfortunately.
