This article seems to confirm what I believe is the Forum's view, ie most cameras are effective, but a few may be sited in such a way as to contribute to poor driver behaviour.

Quite interesting. There's a few cameras near me that I'm sure are never loaded with film.
Even so everyone slows down then speeds up when the coast is clear. They do help. _________________ Satnav:

Yes. Because it makes the statistics for that 10m stretch of road look much better when the council/partnership release their figures for how 'effective' their camera is... |
