I just wanted to post a personal thank you to everyone who sponsored me for tomorrow's marathon.
I won my place in the ballot so, unlike the charity places, I wasn't required to raise any money. But it would have been a wasted opportunity if I didn't use the event to support a good cause. I would have been happy with a few hundred quid so I'm absolutely thrilled to have raised over £2.5k for The National Autistic Society.
And, of course, PocketGPSWorld being what it is, live GPS tracking was a must have, so I shall be tweeting a link before the race start tomorrow morning for anyone who wants to follow my slow progress around the course. I'll ask one of the team to copy the link into the forums here for those of you who aren't on Twitter.
If anyone hasn't sponsored me and would like to, the fundraising page is here.
Final prep today and then I'm off to London this afternoon, getting nervous now. Thanks again for all your support. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Good luck mate :D
I'd say "break a leg" but not sure that's appropriate in this case...

Yep, good luck Darren.
Think you are mad though, if God had meant us to run that far he would have put wheels on our feet instead of toes. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |
