You may have noticed that Satmap are selling National Geographic TOPO maps for various States in the US. I particularly need Minnesota , which is not listed, probably because of demand I suspect. However, I asked Satmap, that if I purchased the DVD from National Geographic( http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=20524 ) if they would be able to convert it to their SD format for me. Their answer was basically that it would not be possible.
Anybody with any ideas how I can get around this....I guess I could go ahead and purchase it, but then I would probably need some assistance from you guys ? thanks.
ps I've just noticed National Geographic advertising their maps for Satmap on their US site. http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/category/satmap-gps-and-topo!-sd-cards?categoryId=S096 |

I'm now going to try and see if they will convert a paper map for me...I'm still not sure why they can't supply my original request, as this is one of a series available from TOPO. If ever I needed my GPS device it really is in the backyard of Minnesota...big areas, with little population. If it means I go paper only, then so be it, but it does seem a shame and a little annoying.
