I know there is an SD card slot in my 930T, but I have no idea how to use it. Is it possible to put the speed camera database onto an SD card so that it can be removed quickly, for example in Switzerland.

Also, I believe that there are other softwares out there that can, for example, record the details of your journey. Can these be run from an SD card in parallel with the standard functionality?

Thanks in advance.

The speedcams have to go in your map folder but you could have just the map folder on the SD card and the application on the internal memory

Expanding on the above a bit....

You could make another copy of your existing map, and put that on an SD card, then add the camera POIs to the copy on the card.
You would need to use "switch maps" in the menu to switch betwen them.

The additional software (such as "Tripmaster") can be used on most of the older TomTOm models, I can't remember if it needs to be run from the same location as the main TomTom program, but even if it did, you could move the map onto the card instead, in order to make room for it.
