|
|
In another thread I'm having problems with a nuvi 2495 just shutting down.
Garmin have replaced it three times and now replaced it again with the 2595.
Alas this is also the same.
Now if every one I have had is failing then I would assume that every nuvi in the country would be effected but judging by how quiet the forum is I doubt that.
The original one I had was perfect for a few months and I suspect it started shutting down after a software/map update. Garmin say it's not a known issue.
So am I the unluckiest guy on the planet or is something else effecting the unit in my van? (it just shuts off, it's not a fault in the power supply as you don't get the "power lost / 15 seconds" box come up.)
Depending on what Garmin say when I call, I think I'll ask to pay the difference on a 2013 model. |

I would think that the majority of people with this type of error would first post in the Garmin forums.
Is there anything similar over there ? _________________ DashCam:

Haven't seen a large number of complaints about this, maybe you're just unlucky |

Never realised there was an official garmin forum!
It's so quiet in the location forum there's cobwebs
Garmin have asked me to try it in a different vehicle, which is a fair request although a bit difficult for me. I shall try and see what the results are although I can't think what could be causing it if it is external forces. |
