seems to work OK - you can download the cams by type and copy all over to save folder, with icons.
Icons are v small on the maps, and there are no alerts. |

And .... whats the point ????
OK so ive got the POI's installed, but i cant see them, the icons are so small. There is no alert method in CP. Using cameralert i have the same problem as before - how do i know where the cameras are???? I get a vague warning there is one somewhere.
Why is this going backwards??? Years ago I used to be able to have nice icons on the map, the nav s/w would zoom in when going slow and zoom out when going fast and you could still see the road coming up. I had my own one word warnings - nice and simple - gatso; mobile; redlight etc. I dont need loads of verbage coming at me. The more crap that comes up on screen (cameralert) the more you have to take your eyes off the road to see what its on about.
Im probably better of with a dedicated sat nav but refuse to buy tom tom etc. Is there a satnav with decent POI functions which zooms in and out as you travel, you can view the road ahead, has upto date maps, and is configurable for icons and speech files??
Can anyone help before i go manic ???? |
