Downloading now - it'll take 8 hours on my pathetic broadband connection though so someone else not stuck in the sticks like me will need to tell us what the update does |

It's taken me 10 minutes to update two devices. (By the way, I altered the title of this thread as the new map is available for all devices, not just the 100X).
Now to look to see if they've done my six corrections yet! _________________ Dennis

Yes, don't know why my TomTom map takes 150 seconds and my Garmin (also UK) about 90 mins...?
No changes for me, but then again I've only driven 1 mile to work... _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Downloaded and installed new UK map in under 5 mins!
Noticed a few road changes already too!

Europe map downloaded in about 30 minutes (10Mb Broadband) Retained favourites, etc - but had to use 'Operate my Go' before it would navigate without rebooting - I navigated to a recent destination after which it was OK.
New section of the M74 is now active, as is the A730 realignment at Shawfield, but they have not removed the section of Polmadie Road which has been closed off as part of the realignment.. _________________ GO 750 Live HD Traffic, Map Europe 930, Navcore 9.510 |

First major thing I've noticed is Reality View on Non-Motorway junctions. All along the A1 around Newcastle now gets Reality View!
Nice move!

First update for a while where there has not been a new Home version beforehand [for older devices]. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

I haven't noticed any changes yet.
The ones I want are likely to be in the next map in November. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

M4 Junction 11 has finally been amended to reflect the significant remodelling of the junction that has been fully active for over a year now.
EDIT: A3 Hindhead Tunnel is also on the map too. |

Is your update coming via "the pretty route" ?
Mine took 12 mins all inclusive via my net book on Wi Fi from the desk top ! _________________ Square2024

Oh why is life never easy!
I have a map updates subscrition foe the whole of Europe, live until November. If I connect my device, TomTom Home will only allow me to download the Wester Europe Zone. If I put my SD card into the computer directly, as I have always done in the past - as advised here - to download Europe, it says I have to buy the thing for £59.
Is this just me, have I forgotten something or have I finally fallen foul of TomTom operating efficiency Whilst I will have the Western Europe Zone fully upto date, I have paid for the whole of Europe
Any advice geartfully received
Thanks
Kevin
PS The unit is a GO 740 live |

Do you have all the Navcore files on the SD Card? Otherwise it will not allow you to get the subscribed download. Also, are you logged in in Home? I did a download no problem yesterday (Europe map to SD Card in card reader) - if I leave the card IN my 750 Live, I am only offered one zone, so a card reader is the only option for the full map. _________________ GO 750 Live HD Traffic, Map Europe 930, Navcore 9.510 |
