Camera Alert v1.2.6
iPhone 4
Database on server 9.052 (29094)
Hi All,
Been using camera alert for a while with no problem, but now getting some problems downloading the database.
It appears to download fine, and starts to update. I can see the size climbing as it updates. But.. Once it's finished the size goes down to 0.
No cameras are present when driving. I've tried downloading quite a few times with no luck.
Any help appreciated! |

Presumably you are already well aware that you need a good data connection for the download, so it can't be that. That's the problem I get when I'm trying to get an update in a poor signal area.
A general cure-all might be to delete the app and re-download it from the App Store. As you've already purchsed it, it won't cost anything (even though it looks at first as though it's going to cost you another 59 pence). Can't harm. _________________ Dennis

Occasionally the database structure gets corrupted. Dennis's suggestion of deleting and reinstalling the app should resolve this.

I've re-installed a few times and what impresses me is how easy it is to do. I remember when installing Windows on a PC was 30+ 3.5" disks and I had to reinstall several times when office staff trashed it. _________________ Dennis
