I have a Tom Tom xl, and I'd like to have the voice prompts off, but warning sounds for safety cameras on. Does anyone know how to do this please? |

I don't think there's a straighht up way to do this - on other models it's possible to disable voice in Preferences.
However, I think you could use a "Silent Voice " which would give the same result. If you can't see it somewhere, do me a PM giving me your email address and I'll send it to you. _________________ Dennis

there are a couple of silent voices avaiable via TT Home too;
one called silent voice, the other no navigation warnings only.
I also have one called Gus's subtle tones that has has quiet beeps, but it's a bit like listening to the internal beeps on an airline at times. I'd quite like one that only gave subtle beeps at major turns or if you've gone wrong _________________ TomTom ONE Series 30 (v8) & TMC traffic

Thank you both. I've installed a silent voice and will try tomorrow.
