Will be interesting to see how AND's map data compares with the likes of Tele Atlas and Navteq. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Indeed it will... We at least know Google's data is reasonably accurate. Seems to me there's a seed-change going on in Nav apps - How the likes of TomTom can hope to distinguish themselves and justify their higher costs will be ineresting. If it carrys on like this, I'll be expecting a chauffeur to be bundled with a premium app! _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

As Google are still using TA map data here and their US data has been widely derided I'd say it's a little early to say that?

I disagree but we shall see. Google's Android app ain't great and unless we suddenly become happy with off-board nav apps (no use when you roam) then I don't think their time is up just yet.
See my recent post to discuss that here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I guess it all depends on if you can trust Navmii to deliver. They promised an in-app update facility in their current app for the PocketGPSWorld cameras but it has never materialised. _________________ Alan - iPhone 5 64GB, with CamerAlert, TomTom Europe & CoPilot |
