Hello, I am using the Telmap 5 Beta and I cant seem to be able to find an address in an other state. I type in the complete street name, city, state and zip code and I get a "cannot find location" or cannot locate. I noticed that when I start up the Telmap 5, I have 3 options in the lower left corner, search, map and my places. I go to the "search" and then type in the address, city, state and get the error. But what i realized is that under the place where you type in the address it says search for places in OHIO. how to I get it to look for places in an other state? Any help would be greatly appreciated.... I want to be able to use it for a trip to Indiana.. Thank you in advance for any help or info |

This is one of my complaints I've had for months.
To search another state, you have to go into options and choose to change your COUNTRY and then pick the other state from the country list! It's stupid to do it that way.
Most road trips that I'm planning, I need to be able to search multiple states along a route, and not have to change the COUNTRY to look up an address in the next state. |

just wanted to say thank you for the reply. I did finally figure it out, and I have to agree that it is a hassle to find an out of state address. Dont understand why they did it that way when most other GPS progams include the entire US for their GPS mapping.... |
