making the camera database work on my tom tom xl iq ?

i have just bought a tom tom xl iq and i want to update the cameras from here to it... but where do i put them ? tried in the map section and the poi section, but nothing, it wont see them - so what am i doing wrong.. be gentle with me i have always had a pda and this is my first foray into the dedicated sat nav arena...

Once you have the download simply extract the files to the UK&ROI map folder or Western_Europe map folder depending upon the exact device you have purchased (regional or European), the POI files will then be available through the Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn when near POI option on the device - Mike
