Hi,
Hope someone can help.
I have a TomTom 750 and want to get an additional memory card for it.
I found this page : Link
But it mentions the 750 isn't compatible with a SDHC - is this really correct?
Can anyone confirm/deny?
Cheers,

That chart is TECHNICALLY correct, but is a bit misleading.....
The x40 and x50 ranges use micro SD cards rather then standard sized ones and according to Wikipaedia almost ALL micro-SD cards are in fact HC, it's just a naming thing that you don't call them "microSDHC".
Quote: | microSD cards are available in capacities from 64 MB to 32 GB. A 12 GB version was developed by SanDisk but never released. Almost all cards with sizes over 2GB are SDHC cards although some early 4GB SD Cards are not classified as SDHC. |
(That used to be all you needed to know, but apparently they have now come up with exactly that, something new called "microSDHC")
So the bottom line is, don't worry... You can use any micro-SD card upto the biggest you can find. |

Is there any advantage in getting a fast MicroSD card? Can the TomTom 740 read the Class 6 cards faster than the slower ones (e.g. Class 2)? |

I have a tesco own brand 4gb microSD which cost me £7, and that has no issues, and i would msuspect thats a cheap card.
