My 510 isn't charging when it's in the car mount.
The green light comes on the the 12V adaptor & the unit, but the charge indicator just shows a bit of green, not that it's charging. (if that makes any sense)
If I wiggle it, then sometimes it say's charging, but then reverts to the above.
Before I get mad & throw it at someone, has anyone any suggestions as to what the problem is, I'm thinking I may need a new mount for it.
Thanks

My 910 has just started to have the same problem. Light is on when on the cradle but is not charging.
If I hold it the 910 down onto the cradle then it starts to charge again. I get the same on the home dock/charger so it's probably not the mount. I have tried to clean the contacts but it hasn't made any difference.
I was looking at buying a new mount but at 30 quid they are not cheap - but as I said it may not be that anyway.

If its playing up on both the car mount and the Home dock its probably the connector strip in the device, to change this would mean a new main board which is probably going to cost far more than the device is worth - Mike |

I had the same problem with my tomtom gps receiver, the charger's round pin type connection simply became loose, which in effect makes the item redundant. I hope the new usb socket on my 930 proves more reliable.... |
