I recently updated my software on the Tom Tom site and ever since my post code entry will only take the first three digits of the code , it then asks for the address , is this a feature or a fault? |

For a start are you using the device correctly? Navigate To/ Address/ Postcode (which might be on the second page of options available).
If so is there a zip folder on the device and more importantly some files contained within it the device should offer postcode support. Use Home to add the zip folder and postcode support to the device if its missing - Mike |

You can get a same file you need in this thread. Check the post by Daggers for the link. I've noticed Home doesn't always seem to recognise when the postcode files are missing, or not the latest version. |

Many thanks , the zip file was not on my device , presumably it had been deleted when I updated the software from TomTom home |
