Having just flushed! everything by running Crap Cleaner I was required to log in again to this site. I'm the only person using this home PC but when I entered the wrong password and had to re-enter my username there were several "options" presented in the dropdown box, none of which had anything to do with me
Perhaps I'm being paranoid but I did wonder, briefly, if there was some automatic software that allowed another party to "pre-tailgate" my incorrect password with their own user ID and thereby access my account when my correct password is finally entered - or do ID and password have to match simultaneously?
Maybe I have been reading too much about the deviousness of our MPs!! |

Hard to say but could just be cached stuff in your browser. Try flushing the cache and any saved user-names/passwords in the browser.
Whatever it is, it's not really an issue with our site? Were these 'options' that appeared at all familiar to you? What web browser do you use? _________________ Darren Griffin |

the autofill values are not stored in the registry so wouldn't be affected by crap-cleaner etc?
ANY web form that asks for a name or username or anything could be 'tagged' to the login part of the form
if you use IE there should be an option somewhere to clear autofill (maybe its called auto complete?) values. i just leave them in though, it's useful at times!!
