Since my last update from TomTom Home where it added the Home Icon,my sound has gone down! if I untick link to road noise it increases, even with the volume slider turned right up to 100%.
But it still is not as loud as it used to be,I have two Tom Toms and its affected both, any ideas how to rectify?. |

TT have lowered the output volume of the device with the 8,350 Navcore release, you could consider re-installing a backup or reverting to the 8,302 Navcore if you still have it stored on the computer? - If you cannot find it then its still possible to download, post back if you need instructions/ links on how to do this - Mike |

Have a read through This post, make sure you make a full backup using Windows Explorer BEFORE going any further, and if any part of the instructions cause you concern please post back here and someone will be along with an explanation - Mike |

Many Thanks,
The volume is lower but not worth going through all the hassle to get it back, why do tom tom do this and not warm you of what the update is?.
Makes you wonder if its worth downloading their updates sometimes,if its not broken why fix it?.

Ian, click the red hyperlinked text in one of my earlier replies in this thread, it will open up a new page on your PC which details exactly how to roll back the Navcore to the previous version (8,320) - Mike |

Thanks Mike, Have just noticed this morning that allegedly tomtom are going to do a fix so I will wait a while before tinkering as my IT skills are not good.
