TomTom Navigator 6 for my PDA

I have an HTC TytnII PDA which I love and it came with a bundled TomTom Navigator 6. I already had a very good Garmin - NUVI 610 so uninstalled the TomTom.
However, I dropped my Garmin recently so reinstalled my TomTom and found it give you one map of one town! In my case Cardiff!!!!! I live in WEston-super-Mare!
Not only is this tight and money pinching, but I have now purchased a Western Europe Map at £39 and when I tried to install it it requested my activation code - which was showing on my screen. I tried inputting this - you guessed, it didn't work. Now, copious emails later and all giving me the same answer - the codes are on the packaging that came with the phone (there are codes, but obviously not the correct ones!) I am still without my GPS. I am so sick of the lack of care and customer support from TomTom that I have now demanded my money back - I shall be buying another Garmin - user friendly, has traffic updates etc on it, re-routing, everything the TomTom has, but in an easier simpler usable way - TomTom gets my vote at the worst Customer support ever!
Do not buy this product and if you look elsewhere on this forum you will see why!

Welcome to the forum, there are three codes involved in activating maps for TTN6:

The Device Code (which is what you see on the PDA when the TTN6 is running)
The Product Code which is supplied with the map
The Activation Code which you get by entering the Devices code and Product code into the web service www.ttcode.com

To find your Product Code have a look at the online help available Here

I thought TomTom were doing all activation via the TomTom Home software these days, but its that long since I bothered with the TTN6 application due to the outdated maps it might be worth trying a manual activation - Mike
