Dunk,
As far as I know, PMobile files are simply Mobile sites that are yet to be ratified by PocketGPSWorld spotters.
I used the same warnings for both Mobile and PMobile sites (simply copy the original Mobile ogg files and called them PMobile.ogg files).

Hi Dunk,
The pmobiles have been incorporated into the relevent mobile files, they are not shown separately any more.
There was a sticky or a mention about it on the Home Page a while back now I think. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

The pMobile files are still available separately. _________________ Richard

And for those of you who use pMobiles there are separate pMobile .ogg file collections available on the voice alerts download page. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Not only that, but some of the more recent voices include the pMobile alerts in the MAIN set.
Would it be useful to note that in the descriptions on the page, Darren? |

If only it was that easy, I'm not sure which sets have pMobiles included and don't fancy downloading and examining them all just to find out! _________________ Darren Griffin |

|
|
Hi again
Last night I removed the files by inserting my SD card into my card reader and opened the map folder then in view I selected details and removed the tempory files that way. I was tempted to remove all the Pmobiles as well but when I veiwed the latest downloaded files and opened them the same way they have pmobiles in as well, so I guess the Pmobiles are there to stay! When I download I always get the speed zoned complete files. The problem was and is when I then go into Tom Tom and into manage POIs then into warn when near POI and start to install the POI everything does what you say it should except the PMobiles, On clicking on them it presents you with a selection of "Bongs and Whistles" instead of like the rest of the files that give "Is this the sound you want to hear" Is it possible that these Pmobiles can be given the same Ogg files as the rest of them? Which in my case is the Vicky voice!
I am as you gather not very keyed up with this and would appreciate a simple way of atcheiving this if it's at all posible!
Regards dunk |

If you have a Vicky ogg file that you want to use, then just copy that particular one and paste it in the map folder, then rename it so it has the same name as the Pmobiles file, but with the .ogg format of course. |

Hi Guys
Thanks for the responce, I have downloaded the latest files of Western Europe and UK now I have Pmobiles in the download as I have always had in the past! I have removed the Temp files from both but I'm not sure how to go about adding the Vicky oggs to the P mobiles. Any chance of a step by step when ever you get the time.
I have the Vicky Ogg files on the rest of the files. Thanks to a copy and paste many months ago.
Regards dunk |

Check your e-mail, I have sent over a set of the files suitably named to match the pmobile files, just copy them to the map folder and configure your warnings using Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI - do this for each of the pmobile camera categories - Mike |

Thanks Mike
Now I know it was you who helped me the last time with my ogg files by sending me a set to download and put straight into the map files.
Thanks a million once again,
And thanks to all who respoded so quickly to my needs. This is what makes this site so worth while.
Regards
