|

Hi Guys
Hope you can help...I downloaded the speed camera database for my TomTom and it works a treat when I'm planning and using a route but if the tomtom is just "on", ie no route planned just idling as I drive then I pass a camera without any warning.
Is it because I have the POI as "Warn only if POI is on route"?
If there's something else I need to do please advise.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum, you need to either always plan a route or turn OFF this:

Mike's good, but even he's not that good! | Are you absolutely positive about that Anita? I mean, how can he screwdriver stuff if he's not? He understands stuff that I can't even spell, far less pronounce!! _________________ Dennis

Now you mention it, Dennis, I suppose I'm not absolutely positive about it.
It would explain a lot, wouldn't it! _________________ Anita

Forgive me for being slow, thick or whatever you wish to call it but, in all the time I've been a member, I haven't been spammed once...
...you've been a user for such a short time, yet you're being spammed all day.
Please tell me where I'm going wrong.
If it's the light-heartened posts you're complaining about, then perhaps you might like to think about just how boring this forum would become if we were all geeks and only discussing 'very serious' matters. In fact, it's the more open and human part of this forum which many say works in its favour.
Obviously, the forum is large because people like it, not because it's being spread around like those adverts for various enlargements which keep dropping into my inbox and are deleted immediately. _________________ Andy
